In the May Action Alerts PLUS members' call, Jim Cramer talked defense -- because he and his AAP portfolio team like it.

They have happily held Raytheon (RTN) , "which has been a winner," said Cramer.   "And I said that it also made us want to own any other defense stock that we can get a hand on, particularly some company that wants to unlock value."

And that's how they came across Textron  (TXT) .

So Cramer surprised viewers and brought in Jeff Marks, Senior Portfolio Analyst of Action Alerts PLUS, to explain in detail the many things they like about the company.

"When Textron reported, I remember you sent an email to the team. And it was three words, 'business jet inflection,'" said Marks.
