Women live longer than men and need to invest more, according to one celebrity personal finance author, who spoke to TheStreet during Women's History Month.
Women live longer than men and need to invest more, according to David Bach, author of Smart Women Finish Rich and founder of AE Wealth Management.
"You've got to be upping your 401(k) plan, saving all the way through your career," Bach said in an interview with TheStreet during Women's History Month. "Often women are a little bit too conservative on the way they invest in their portfolios."
Bach said married women outlive their husband by an average of seven years.
