How To Trade Friday's Job's Number

TheStreet's founder Jim Cramer and a panel of top experts discuss how investors should be positioning their portfolio for March in this month's Trading Strategies session. In this clip above, listen to them discuss how to play the market with Friday's jobs number looming.
By TRACY BYRNES Mar 09, 2018 | 06:31 AM EST

TheStreet's founder Jim Cramer hosted this month's Trading Strategies session and he, along with his expert panel, tackled everything from the risk of recession to bitcoin.

His panel included:

  • Tony Dwyer, senior managing director and chief market strategist for Canaccord Genuity;
  • Stephen "Sarge" Guilfoyle, co-manager of TheStreet's Stocks Under $10 model portfolio and author of TheStreet's Market Recon morning newsletter;
  • Brian Levitt, senior investment strategist for OppenheimerFunds;
  • Jeff Marks, senior portfolio analyst for Action Alerts Plus, Jim Cramer's charitable trust and club for investors

In this clip, the panel discusses the upcoming jobs number and what we can expect?

Levitt reminds that the economy has already seen a ton of hiring so don't expect to see significant job growth.

Guilfoyle, though, aptly points out that while people are employed, many are not doing the job they want to be doing.

Listen in to here their conversation and learn how to position your portfolio for it all.
