So What Wine Pairs With the SOTU?

President Trump will deliver his first State of the Union address at 9 p.m. EST tonight -- and since we had wine experts Mike DeSimone and Jeff Jenssen, a.k.a. the World Wine Guys, in our newsroom anyway, we had to ask them what they were drinking tonight.

And while everyone probably will be listening for President Trump to brag about his administration's economic achievements, talk about immigration and maybe even a new infrastructure plan, it got us thinking....about wine.

Mainly, what wine pairs perfectly with the #SOTU?

Thankfully, the World Wine Guys, Mike DeSimone and Jeff Jenssen, and co-authors of the recent book Red Wine: The Comprehensive Guide to the 50 Essential Varieties & Styles, were stopping by to talk the state of the wine world anyway.

So we had to ask them.
