If you think this year's auto show will be a bunch of souped up crossovers and pickup trucks, think again.
Technology -- autonomous driving, connected cars, e-mobility -- surely will be in the drivers seat.
And while you may have thought that CES in Vegas stole its thunder since mobility solutions - from the driverless motorcycles to the volocopter- were all the rage, the 2018 North American International Show in Detroit will not disappoint.
BlackBerry (BB) CEO John Chen will give a keynote, Intel (INTC) will be there highlighting its recent collaboration with Ford (F) and AI will be everywhere.
And the AutoMobili-D center, launched in 2017, is back -- and bigger --- and will feature all the latest mobility-focused technologies and innovative platforms from automakers, suppliers and startups, addressing everything from mobility services to smart cities.
The show is expecting about 800,000 visitors, all who will get to witness Detroit's economic resurgence.
So watch the video above to get a great preview of what to expect and be sure to stay tuned to TheStreet as we take you on a wild ride through the 2018 auto show.
