While you are shopping for Black Friday bargains, gun manufacturers ant to make sure you don't forget about them.
Several of them are jumping on the Black Friday sale bandwagon.
That includes privately held Remington Arms. The company announced a pre-Black Friday sale. They are offering $100 off the price of handguns purchased before November 18.
Smith & Wesson, which is owned by American Outdoor Brands (AOBC) , will give you a $50 gift card with purchase of a revolver or the M&P Bodyguard 380 pistol.
It's unclear exactly how much Storm Ruger & Co. Inc. (RGR) will discount their firearms this holiday. On their earnings call, the company announced: "more promotions that were moderately more aggressive than last year."
Despite the president's promise of no stimulus until after Nov. 3, there are no signs yet that this is the sort of correlated selling that leads to a deep correction.
