Video: Jim Cramer Kicks Off #CramerTeachIn for Investors at the Harvard Club

Jim Cramer hosted a symposium for active investors this weekend. TheStreet's Financial Success Strategies took place at the Harvard Club in NYC and included market mavens like CME Group, Real Money Pro contributor Carley Garner, CNBC's Jon Najarian and TD Ameritrade's JJ Kinahan. When you walked into New York City's Harvard Club, you instantly knew something special was happening on this #SaturdayMorning.

Attendees for TheStreet's Financial Success Strategies were so excited to see Jim Cramer, they began arriving long before the 8:30am start time! A couple of college students told me they had just taken a train in from Philly! Another attendee said he traveled from Singapore to attend the #CramerTeachIn, which was sponsored by TD Ameritrade and CME Group. Wow!

The event did not disappoint! The moment Cramer walked into the room, it was like watching a rock star make his way through the crowd. The one thing about Jim is that he is completely accessible! He admitted during one of the discussions that he likes to talk stocks with people! "It is just fun to talk stocks", he told the crowd. And he did just that during the early hour meet and greet. (He also took plenty of selfies!)

By the time Cramer walked into the main hall & approached the podium, you could really feel the energy in the room! Twitter, apparently, also felt the energy! #CramerTeachIn trended all morning.

As he opened the conference, Cramer said, "It's a classic year for stock picking. We're going to see more days like Friday." He went on to say "with markets as crazy as they are, it's a remarkable time to be an investor".

@Vanderminden got it right when he said:
