Visa ( (V) ) turned in both revenue and earnings that were better than Wall Street expected. The profit was driven by its purchase of Visa Europe and as more people made payments using its network. Chipotle Mexican Grill ( (CMG) ) shares are tanking after an earnings miss. Sales are still struggling and the hoped for boost in traffic at restaurants from the queso drip didn't happen. Chipotle shares are down about 14% so far this year. The Mexican chain has never fully recovered from the food borne illness outbreak in 2015. AT&T ( (T) ) had revenue that missed estimates in the quarter. It's revenue was $39.6 billion versus $40 billion expected. Earnings also missed slightly. The company did say it had 300-thousand new DirectTV now subscribers. At&T also said this week it was delaying, for a short time, it's $85 billion purchase of Time Warner as it awaits regulatory approval.
