Lessons to Be Learned From Black Monday and the Stock Market Crash of 1987

No one wants to see a Black Monday type crash happen again today. Diana Henriques speaks to TheStreet about the lessons Wall Street learned and still needs to learn.

Almost 30 years after the Black Monday crash, markets keep reaching new highs. Some are wondering whether we can see a repeat of the 1987 crash.

TheStreet's James Langford sat down with Diana Henriques, the author of "A First-Class Catastrophe: The Road to Black Monday, the Worst Day in Wall Street History." They discussed the warning signs and the lessons investors learned.

Henriques referred to Black Monday as a crystal ball crash and discussed the parallels with the 2008 crash.
