Don't expect to see Facebook (FB) CEO Mark Zuckerberg or COO Sheryl Sandberg sit down in front of Congress when Facebook testifies before the Senate Intelligence Committee, according to a CNBC source familiar with the situation.
Facebook will face a grilling from lawmakers over the social media company's ad buying service and whether Russia-based individuals used it to influence the 2016 U.S. election.
Instead of appearing in front of Congress, the two individuals will instead participate in a conference call with investors that afternoon about the company's third quarter results.
Facebook had reportedly not decided who will represent the company during the hearing in the Senate.
Despite the president's promise of no stimulus until after Nov. 3, there are no signs yet that this is the sort of correlated selling that leads to a deep correction.
