Yes, exchange traded funds can make you rich.
You probably have exposure to these funds in your 401(k), but if you're looking to access this money before your retire, you may want to invest in exchange traded funds outside of a 401(k) in a brokerage account.
The most common exchange traded funds simply track the major stock indices, such as the S&P 500 or the Dow Jones Industrial Average. You can even put a small amount of money per month in each fund.
The fees for exchange traded funds are cheap. Look for ones with an expense ratio of 0.1% or less. Expense ratio is just a fancy term for fees.
