The New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ opened with a moment of silence for the Las Vegas Strip shooting victims. Police say a lone gunman opened fire on the outdoor music festival. At this hour, 50 people have died and more than 400 people are injured. The shooter has been identified as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock. Authorities believe Paddock killed himself. The suspect was on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino late Sunday, Oct. 1, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. It has been called one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history. It is not being connected to international terrorism.
