Shark Tank's Robert Herjavec made his fortune in cybersecurity. We sat down with him at an event celebrating his new streaming series "Small Business Revolution." We discussed the Equifax (EFX) data breach that exposed the personal information of 143 million Americans.
Herjavec mentioned past cyber attacks including Sony (SNY) and Target (TGT) saying they might just be the tip of the iceberg. He says the Equifax is different because it affected half of the consumers in the U.S.
Herjavec predicts new legislation is coming that will open top executives up to being held criminally negligent when leaks like this occur and they do not have proper cybersecurity.
