If President Donald Trump manages to push his tax plan through, Silicon Valley will have a lot to be thankful for. Though details remain sparse, the plan mentions a repatriation holiday on top of a plan to reduce to corporate tax rate to 20 percent.
If the Trump plan passes, U.S. tech companies stand to bring a combined $250 billion back to the U.S. Tech actually accounts for 70% of total S&P 500 taxable cash stashed abroad. While many companies are poised to reap mass rewards from the plan, Silicon Valley may arguably be the biggest beneficiary.
