Bloomberg is reporting that FEMA is almost out of money. HPE's ( (HPE) ) stock is higher after beating earnings expectations. The results come after the company slimmed down and cut costs. Also, CEO Meg Whitman left no indications that she would be leaving the company for Uber or anywhere else. Facebook ( (FB) ) is being accused of inflating its ad reach. A Pivotal Research Group analyst says Facebook's ads manager claims a potential reach of 41 million 18-24 year olds and 60 million 25-34 year olds but U.S. Census data shows that last year there weren't even that many people in those age groups.
Despite the president's promise of no stimulus until after Nov. 3, there are no signs yet that this is the sort of correlated selling that leads to a deep correction.
