Prospective entrepreneurs on the hit television show Shark Tank are getting savvier.
"In this current season that we're in the middle of shooting, the deals that I've seen are the most remarkable ever," said Kevin O'Leary, a co-star of the show and the chairman of O'Shares ETF Investments.
O'Leary said the Sharks usually hear about intellectual property from prospective entrepreneurs that is patent pending. This time around, O'Leary is seeing entrepreneurs come onto the show with issued patents.
"These are embryonic beginnings but the entrepreneur has secured their next 15 years with something I can protect in my own sphere of influence as an investor," O'Leary said.
Despite the president's promise of no stimulus until after Nov. 3, there are no signs yet that this is the sort of correlated selling that leads to a deep correction.
