Meg Whitman just announced that she is stepping down as Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Co.'s CEO (HPE) . She has been leading the company since 2011 when it was still part of HP (HP) . For those following her career, word of Whitman's departure is not a big surprise. She is set to officially leave the company at the end of January.
