Cable operators and telecoms got a win from the House of Representatives on Tuesday, when representatives voted in line with the Senate to undo privacy rules put in place by the Obama FCC.
The House voted 215-205 in favor of striking the regulations, following the Senate's resolution to do so last week. The measures would remove FCC rules enacted last year that required Internet service providers, or ISPs, such as Comcast (CMCSA) , Charter (CHTR) , AT&T (T) and Verizon (VZ) to follow new rules to protect consumers' privacy.
