The White House released its 2018 budget blueprint, titled "America First: A Budget Blueprint to Make America Again." A majority of President Trump's "American First" budget will be geared toward military and defense spending, with the U.S. Navy and cyber security being significant priorities. The blueprint also includes a 6.8% increase in investment on border security and immigration enforcement.
To make these increases, cuts will be made elsewhere:
The Environment Protection Agency budget will be slashed by 31%
The Department of Labor by 21%
The Department of Commerce by 16%
The Department of Treasury by 4.1%.
