Winter storm Stella has brought air travel in the Northeast to a halt. According to Flightaware, there have been over 6,000 flight cancellations and over 2,500 delays for all those who intended to fly today. Southwest (LUV) had over 900 cancellations alone, or 22% of their flights. American Airlines (AAL) had 700 cancelled flights or 23%, and JetBlue had 646 cancellations or 66% of their flights. Luckily, most airlines are offering free rebooking for those flights affected by the storm.
