On Wednesday, March 15, investors await the Federal Reserve's March statement. Investors and economists expect the central bank to announce a rate hike in its statement, which is released at 2 p.m. EST, as economic data has been improving in recent months. Chair Janet Yellen is also giving a press conference at 2:30 p.m. Before the Fed statement, the consumer price index and retail sales - both for February - are released at 8:30 a.m. The EIA Petroleum Status Report is out at 10:30 a.m. As for earnings, Oracle (ORCL) releases quarterly results after the markets close.
