TheStreet's Action Alerts PLUS Portfolio Manager Jim Cramer shares his take on Thursday's hot stocks.
Here's a quick recap:
On Tesla (TSLA) , Cramer said the company needs to raise more capital. On Wednesday, Tesla reported a narrower than expected fourth quarter loss and said Model 3 production is set to begin in January.
Cramer also said investors should allow the shorts to leave Nvidia (NVDA) , which saw shares slump Thursday after a downgrade from BMO Capital Markets analysts. Cramer also said he likes Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) , which is cheaper than Nvidia.
As for J.C. Penney (JCP) , which releases earnings on Friday, Cramer is concerned, as the company sells apparel, which is a weak area.
Cramer also reacts to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin's comments that tax reform may be coming by August and shares his latest take on shares of Barclays (BCS) and HP Inc. (HP) .
