McDonald's (MCD) said Monday it is selling its businesses in mainland China and Hong Kong for $2.08 billion to Citic, a state-owned conglomerate, and private-equity firm Carlyle Group (CG) . McDonald's will get about 6% of the business' sales in the form of royalty payments.
