A host of major banks will report earnings in the week of Jan. 9.
On Wednesday, home builder KB Home (KBH) releases quarterly results. Delta Air Lines (DAL) unveils earnings on Thursday. Friday, the markets await earnings from Bank of America (BAC) , BlackRock (BLK) , JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and Wells Fargo (WFC) .
Also on Friday, retail sales for December are released, along with the producer price index for December.
