Ford (F) is integrating Exxon Mobil's (XOM) Speedpass+ app to make paying for gas from inside the vehicle possible. Drivers can use Sync AppLink to search for and find approximately 9,400 participating Exxon and Mobil gas stations.
Using GPS, the vehicle recognizes it is at a participating Exxon or Mobil station. The driver can then pay for fuel using the in-vehicle touch screen or voice commands. The idea is to make getting gas more seamless, so you can spend less time at the station and more on the open road.
