On Thursday investors are keeping a close eye on labor market data. At 8:15 a.m. EST, the ADP Employment Report for December is released. Private payrolls are expected to rise by 172,000. The report tends to follow Friday's jobs report from the government. At 8:30 a.m., weekly jobless claims are released, which are expected to fall by 5,000. Other economic data points include the ISM Non-manufacturing Index for December at 10 a.m., along with the weekly EIA Petroleum Status Report at 11 a.m. As for earnings, Constellation Brands (STZ) , Monsanto (MON) and Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) all report quarterly results before the markets open.
