Honda (HMC) is in talks to supply vehicles for Alphabet's (GOOGL) Waymo subsidiary in order to explore self-driving technology. If the deal moves forward, Honda would become Waymo's second auto industry partner after Fiat Chrysler (FCAU) agreed to provide Waymo with minivans. Honda's goal is to get self-driving cars on the road by 2020.
