Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD) has sold its controlling stake in Coca-Cola Africa to Coca-Cola (KO) for just over $3 billion. The beer maker is trying to sell assets amid its mega-takeover of SABMiller, which formerly owned the stake in Coca-Cola Africa. Earlier this month, AB InBev sold its Eastern European beer brands to Japan-based Asahi (ASBRY) for $7.8 billion. Coca-Cola and AB InBev shares moved slightly higher on Wednesday following news of the deal.
