On Wednesday investors await quarterly earnings from Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) . Analysts expect the retailer to report earnings of 99 cents a share on sales of $3.01 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, the company posted earnings of $1.09 on sales of $2.95 billion. Other notable earnings include Accenture (ACN) and Finish Line (FINL) . As for economic data, existing home sales for November are out at 10 a.m. ET, while the weekly EIA Petroleum Status Report is released at 10:30 a.m. Plus, all eyes will be on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which at one point came just 13 points away from 20,000 on Tuesday. Investors will be watching Wednesday to see if the blue-chip index crosses that threshold.
