Apple (AAPL) , Cisco (CSCO) , Microsoft (MSFT) and Intel (INTC) will be winners in the technology space in 2017, according to Scott Kessler, an equity analyst with CFRA. Kessler believes a big theme next year will be the repatriation of foreign earnings, which may lead to additional domestic development, stock buybacks, and dividend increases. He adds one potential loser is Accenture (ACN) , since it holds only a quarter of its revenue overseas. Kessler notes the ten largest technology sector companies in the S&P by market cap had $709 billion in cash and investments as of late November, and 74% of that was held overseas.
