charity: water is disrupting the charity space, by betting that consumers will make fixed monthly donations, similar to a Netflix (NFLX) or Spotify subscription.
Scott Harrison, CEO of charity: water said small donations, even as low as $10 or $30 a month, can go a long way.
He said his charity has funded the construction of water wells in developing countries for as little as $10,000.
charity: water has funded over 21,000 water projects in some two dozen countries. The average donation is roughly $32.
