Macy's (M) CEO Terry Lundgren is preparing to step down and begin a new chapter in his life. He will hand his successor Jeff Gennette the company in a much different position than he found it.
Lundgren spoke with TheStreet about his proudest accomplishments at Macy's. They include bringing once-disparate brands together. He also takes pride in surrounding himself with talented people.
Gennette takes the reins at Macy's in the first quarter of 2017. Lundgren predicts the company will continue to move forward for years to come.
