Warren Buffett is bullish on airline stocks. Buffett's company Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B) had taken positions in major U.S. airlines, including American Airlines (AAL) , Delta Air Lines (DAL) , and United Continental (UAL) , according to a regulatory filings. He also holds a position in Southwest (LUV) , according to CNBC. Berkshire already invests in other transportation related companies, like NetJets and BNSF railroad, but has steered clear of airline stocks for some time. Berkshire also cut its holdings in Walmart Stores (WMT) by nearly 70 percent.
