For the week of November 7, all eyes are on Tuesday's presidential election. The latest Real Clear Politics national poll average shows Hillary Clinton with a 1.6% lead over Donald Trump. Experts expect gold prices to rise following the election, as the metal is viewed as a safe haven asset. During the election weeks in 2012, 2008 and 2004, gold prices surged. As for earnings, on Monday, AMC Entertainment (AMC) , LendingClub LC, Marriott International (MAR) , News Corporation (NWS) , Sotheby's (BID) and The Priceline Group (PCLN) release earnings. On Tuesday, CVS Health (CVS) , D.R. Horton (DHI) and Valeant Pharmaceuticals (VRX) release earnings. Mylan (MYL) , Norwegian Cruise (NCLH) , Shake Shack (SHAK) and Viacom (VIA) report earnings Wednesday. On Thursday, Astrazeneca (AZN) , Kohl's Corporation (KSS) , Macy's (M) , Nordstrom (JWN) and The Walt Disney Company (DIS) release results. J.C. Penney Company (JCP) unveils earnings Friday.
