Qualcomm (QCOM) is due to report earnings on Wednesday, and Jim Cramer says he's bullish on the stock, especially since the company agreed to buy semiconductor company NXP (NXPI) . "I think Qualcomm is going to do exactly what Avago did," explained Cramer. Earlier this year, Avago and Broadcom (AVGO) merged. "When they brought Broadcom, they were no longer hostage to Apple (AAPL) ." Cramer says he thinks shares of Qualcomm will continue to go higher from here. Cramer is portfolio manager of the Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust.
