On Tuesday, October 25, Apple (AAPL) reports fiscal fourth quarter results after the markets close. Analysts expect the iPhone maker to report earnings of $1.65 a share on sales of $46.89 billion. During the same quarter a year ago, Apple posted earnings of $1.96 a share on revenue of $51.5 billion. Analysts will keep an eye on Apple's services revenue, which includes its iTunes and App store. 3M Company (MMM) , Caterpillar (CAT) and General Motors (GM) , Merck (MRK) and Procter & Gamble (PG) report before the markets open. On the economic calendar, the S&P Corelogic Case-Shiller Home Price Index for August is released at 9 a.m. EDT and the Conference Board's consumer confidence index is out at 10 a.m. Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank President Dennis Lockhart is delivering a speech in Atlanta at 1:20 p.m. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
