Netflix ( (NFLX) ) says shows like 'Stranger Things' and 'Narcos' helped it crush subscriber expectations. The streaming music company reported a surge in new subscribers, especially international. The subscriber numbers beat expectations by 50%. Netflix also says it plans to grow more internationally and will spend $6 billion on new content next year versus $5 billion this year. UnitedHealth (UNH) also says both earnings and revenue were higher than expected. The health insurer also raised its full year guidance. UnitedHealth's shares are up nearly 14% year to date.
