On Thursday, October 6, investors await weekly jobless claims. The number of people filing for unemployment benefits is expected to rise to 256,000 this week, compared to 254,000 during the prior week. The four week average stands at 256,000. It's a light day on the earnings calendar, with Ruby Tuesday (RY) , Advanced Drainage Systems (WMS) and International Speedway (ISCA) reporting results.
