The Federal Reserve takes center stage for the week of September 19. On Wednesday, the Fed releases its September statement and Chair Janet Yellen delivers a press conference at 2:30 p.m. Eastern. Investors only see a 15% chance of a rate hike at this meeting. The Fed raised interest rates for the first time in almost ten years back in December 2015. As for corporate earnings, on Tuesday, home builders Lennar (LEN) and KB Home (KBH) report quarterly results, along with Adobe Systems (ADBE) and FedEx (FDX) . On Wednesday, the markets await earnings from General Mills (GIS) , CarMax (KMX) and Bed Bath & Beyond (BBBY) . Rite Aid (RAD) and AutoZone (AZO) release earnings on Thursday.
