Tuesday, the markets await quarterly results from BHP Billiton (BHP) , Coty (COTY) , Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) , Home Depot (HD) , TJX Companies (TJX) and Urban Outfitters (URBN) . American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) , Cisco Systems (CSCO) , L Brands (LB) , Lowe's Companies (LOW) , Staples (SPLS) and Target Corporation (TGT) report financial results Wednesday. Thursday, the markets will hear from Gap (GPS) , Ross Stores (ROST) and Walmart (WMT) . On Friday, Deere & Company (DE) , Estee Lauder (EL) , Foot Locker (FL) and MSG Networks (MSG) release financial results. In terms of economic data, on Tuesday, investors await the July consumer price index and July housing starts. Plus, Atlanta Fed President Dennis Lockhart delivers a speech in Tennessee. On Wednesday, St. Louis Fed President James Bullard speaks in St. Louis. The minutes of the Fed's July meeting are also released Wednesday. On Thursday, the markets await weekly jobless claims and the Philadelphia Fed Business Outlook Survey. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
