For the week of August 1, investors will be watching a slew of corporate earnings and the July jobs report. On Monday, AMC Entertainment (AMC) and Vornado Realty Trust (VNO) release financial results. Tuesday, American International Group (AIG) , CVS Health Corporation (CVS) , Etsy (ETSY) , Ferrari (RACE) , Fitbit (BIT) and Procter & Gamble (PG) unveil earnings. On Wednesday, the markets will hear from DineEquity (DIN) , Equinix (EQIX) , Tesla (TSLA) and Time Warner (TWX) release results. LinkedIn (LNKD) , Kraft-Heinz Company (KHC) , Viacom (VIA) and Zillow (Z) post earnings. On Friday, Virgin America (VA) and E.W. Scripps Company (SSP) are slated to report quarterly results. On the economic calendar, the ISM Manufacturing Index for July is released Monday; personal income and consumer spending data for June is out Tuesday; and the ADP Employment Report for July is unveiled Wednesday. On Thursday, investors await weekly jobless claims. On Friday, the July employment report is released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Investors will be watching to see if the labor market's momentum in in June, when the economy added 287,000 jobs, is maintained in July. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
