Investors are gearing up for the start of second quarter earnings season this week. On Monday, Alcoa (AA) reports results after the markets close. Analysts expect the aluminum company to post profit of $0.09 a share on sales of $5.2 billion, according to analysts surveyed by FactSet. On Wednesday, the earnings parade continues with (CSX) Corporation (CSX) and Yum! Brands (YUM) reporting after the markets close. On Thursday, Delta Airlines (DAL) , JPMorgan Chase (JPM) and BlackRock (BLK) release results. Finally, on Friday, Citigroup (C) , U.S. Bancorp (USB) and Wells Fargo (WFC) all report before the markets open. On the economic calendar, Fed officials Dennis Lockhart, Esther George, James Bullard and Robert Kaplan are speaking at various events on Thursday. On Friday, keep an eye out for the June consumer price index and June retail sales at 8:30am Eastern, along with June industrial production at 9:15am. TheStreet's Scott Gamm reports from Wall Street.
