Global stocks are under pressure today. There are renewed worries about Brexit as the British pound has fallen to a new 30 year low. Crude oil is also trading down as most asset classes are falling. Tesla (TSLA) is under fire for waiting 9 days before reporting the fatal crash of one of its cars while in autopilot. It learned about the crash of the Model S Sedan in Florida 'shortly' after the May 7th crash, and on May 16th, it disclosed the incident to the government. That has spurred question, including an article in Fortune Magazine over whether the company and regulators should have informed the public earlier of the fatality. CEO Elon Musk tweeted in response to the article that the May fatality 'wasn't material' to Tesla. Medivation (MDVN) now says it will talk about a merger with Sanofi as well as other pharma firms. Medivation is said to be interested in a possible deal with Pfizer (PFE) and Celgene (CELG)
