Target's (TGT) earnings report will be a good indicator of the health of consumer spending, according to Jharonne Martis, Director of Consumer Research at Thomson Reuters. Target reports its quarterly results on Wednesday, along with Lowe's (LOW) , which Martis expects will have a strong quarter. L Brands (LB) and American Eagle (AEO) will also deliver their results.
