Jim Cramer, portfolio manager of the Action Alerts PLUS charitable trust, said he prefers Costco (COST) over Walmart (WMT), which cut its sales outlook today. Cramer discussed several other retail stocks, including L Brands (LB) which he said is a stock to own. ‘L Brands is one of the few retailers that I would just stick my neck out and say by half right now,’ said Cramer, who praised the company’s management. A viewer asked Cramer about Boeing (BA), which he said he would not own, suggesting Honeywell (HON) instead. He also likes GE (GE) which he said could go to $30, and said investors who want to bottom fish can look at Alcoa (AA). Cramer was also asked about Jack in the Box (JACK), and he pointed investors to the Action Alerts Plus monthly conference call, which is scheduled for today. Cramer also commented on Macy’s(M), Rockwell Automation (ROK), Emerson (EMR), Cummins (CMI), and travel sites TripAdvisor (TRIP), Priceline (PCLN) and Expedia (EXPE). Viewers can send questions to Cramer on his Facebook page, or on Twitter, using #Cramer Q.
