In the week ahead, markets will be closed on Monday for the President's Day holiday, but the rest of the week is filled with earnings. On Tuesday, investors will hear from Hormel Foods (HRL), The Cheesecake Factory (CAKE) and Fossil Group (FOSL). Then midweek, Dr. Pepper Snapple (DPS), T-Mobile US (TMUS) and Jack-in-the-Box (JACK) will release their latest financial data. Towards the end of the week, investors will get results from Wal-Mart Stores (WMT), DISH Network (DISH) and Nordstrom (JWN). On the economic calendar, traders will get the Empire State Manufacturing Survey and the housing market index on Tuesday. Halfway through the week, they'll get housing starts, producer price index, and minutes from the Federal Open Market Committee. Then on Thursday, jobless claims and the weekly oil inventory data will be released. TheStreet's U-Jin Lee reports from Wall Street.
