If you want to achieve greatness in the business world, you really do need to create a vision, according to Lewis Howes, author of a new book called 'The School of Greatness.' He also hosts the popular podcast by the same name. 'So many people today, whether they are looking to make more money or they're looking to get a new job, they're not really sure on what they want and why they want it,' said Howes, who believes creating a vision is key before any success can follow. Howes outlines several other principles in his book, including turning adversity into advantage. Howes said fear of failure, or looking bad, holds many people back. 'Most people are really focused on their image,’ explained Howes, who said that people will offer excuses for why they aren’t starting a new business or moving forward in their careers. But Howes said people who achieve greatness have a different mindset. ‘The thing that a lot of these great individuals do is they embrace the mistakes, they embrace the lessons that are to come,’ he explained.
