For Tuesday September 22, TheStreet notes a handful of companies reporting their latest earnings. We start off the day with Carnival (CCL), General Mills (GIS), and AutoZone (AZO) reporting their recent financial results, along with ConAgra Foods (CAG), CarMax (KMX), and Darden Restaurants (DRI) releasing their numbers before the market open. There are several key economic reports to look out for on Tuesday. At 8:55 a.m. Eastern, the Redbook comes out, followed by the Federal Housing Finance Agency House Price Index at 9:00 a.m. Economists expect to see a 0.4% increase for the month of July. Then at 7 p.m. Federal Reserve Bank president Dennis Lockhart is expected to give a speech in Montgomery, Alabama. TheStreet's U-Jin Lee reports from New York.
