For Wednesday August 12, TheStreet highlights a few companies scheduled to release their latest quarterly numbers as earnings season slows down. Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba (BABA), department store company Macy's (M), and food service provider Aramark (ARMK) will report earnings before the market open. Then, in the afternoon, technology company Cisco Systems (CSCO) and media company News Corp. (NWSA) will release numbers after the market close. On the U.S. economic calendar, at 7AM eastern, MBA Mortgage Applications will be released. Then, at 8:30, Federal Reserve bank president William Dudley is set to speak in Rochester, New York. He will be speaking on work force development. Finally, at 10:30 the Energy Information Administration (EIA) will provide weekly information on oil inventories in the U.S. TheStreet’s U-Jin Lee reports in New York.
