With Twitter (TWTR) on the hunt for a new permanent chief executive officer, various reports are pegging the company's president of global revenue and partnerships, Adam Bain, as the frontrunner. So who is the man that may take the reins from interim chief executive and chairman Jack Dorsey? Bain is a five-year veteran of Twitter, where he oversees the company's worldwide monetization efforts and the rollout of its advertising platform. According to his bio, prior to joining Twitter, he was president of the Fox Audience Network, where he oversaw a team dedicated to monetizing News Corporation's (NWSA) Web properties and third-party online publishers. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer at Fox Interactive Media, and also ran the technology and product divisions at FOXSports.com. He was named #1 in AdWeek's 50 ranking of indispensable industry talent in September 2012. He's on the board of the Ad Council, where he is also a member of their executive committee.
